We are experiencing the greatest economic expansion on Stockton Boulevard with the completion
of Aggie Square in 2025. Aggie Square is expected to be a transformative project for Stockton
Boulevard and the greater Sacramento region, creating new opportunities in education, health and technology, while contributing to the economic and revitalization of our commercial corridor.

Aggie Square is a first-of-its-kind, $1 billion innovation district based in Sacramento. Anchored by UC
Davis and developed by Wexford Science + Technology, Aggie Square features 1.1 million sq. ft. of
mixed-use development, from commercial labs to classrooms, a residential tower and ground floor
public-facing space.

In addition, the former San Juan hotel site at 5700 Stockton Boulevard is being transformed into 113-unit mixed-income housing development. This project is part of the city’s broader efforts to add more affordable housing units and revitalize our surrounding neighborhoods. Additionally, College Town International (CTI) Housing broke ground at 3400 Stockton Boulevard to develop 131 mixed-income housing targeting the work force near UC Davis Med Center.

The Little Saigon District along Stockton Boulevard remains a vital part of Sacramento’s multicultural
scene, contributing significantly to the City’s cultural diversity and economy. Little Saigon continues
to bring our economic driver where we are seeing the next generation continuing with businesses that were started by the first wave of immigrants arriving in 1975. This year will mark the 50th Anniversary of the Fall of Saigon on April 30.
